Personal Record Keeping

One of the vital areas of training is record keeping. Accurate records provide a reference that can plot progress and also indicate trends, good and bad!

The type of records kept are limited only by the shooter’s imagination. Here are some examples:

    Training scores by station

    Competition scores by station

    Dry training performances

    Technical information

    Coaching adjustments

    Coping with adverse weather conditions

    Equipment preferences

    Gun fit measurements

Over time, using the gathered information, the shooter can create an excellent personal training manual, a very useful reference tool. Organising it can create a problem but there are computer programmes that make it all pretty simple.
