There’s more to driving a 4 x 4 off-road than just steering it into the nearest muddy field! If you want to make the most of a 4 x 4’s abilities in the rough stuff you need to learn the skills.
Our 4 x 4 events combine learning with all the thrills of taking a motor vehicle across difficult terrain without coming to grief. Once the basic techniques are explained there is the opportunity to drive a 4 x 4 on courses that can test beginner and expert alike.
A 4 x 4 day makes a great corporate event, even if you and your guests normally never leave the safety of the highway.
Shoot & Drive Event
Our Shoot & Drive day combines off-road driving with clay shooting, mirroring the 4 x 4’s greatest asset in the countryside - the ability to get to out-of-the-way places in style and comfort. For shooting the 4 x 4 does all this and more, transporting people, guns, dogs and all the shooting paraphernalia with ease.
The concept of the Shoot/Drive event is simple: you learn to drive off-road and you learn to shoot a variety of clays all in the same day. It’s a great country experience that remains in the memory long after the event is over!
Driver Training
Driving off-road needs an entirely different technique to road driving if you hope to keep rolling across difficult terrain. Our courses teach the vital off-road driving skills as well as an in-depth knowledge of the 4 x 4 - what it can do and, more importantly, what it cannot do!
These courses provide training at several levels. Recreational courses for the occasional off-road driver, more advanced courses for the regular off-road driver and for the professional whose job entails regular excursions off road.
For group recreational courses three people can share a vehicle/instructor and learn from each other!
All Instructors are BORDA* qualified, and courses can be one or two days.
