Gun directly beneath the master eye, the stock resting lightly against the body

Gun half mounted
Eye/gun relationship maintained, the stock lightly brushing the body as it comes up. The movement is led by the front hand pushing the gun forward - at no time are the muzzles allowed to dip

Note the stock pressed into the face, the shoulder hunched forward and up to meet the butt of the stock.
